UltraTech Cement standalone net profit rises 10.85% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 4.94% to Rs 6435.91 crore

Net profit of UltraTech Cement rose 10.85% to Rs 681.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 614.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.94% to Rs 6435.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 6133.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 7.94% to Rs 2174.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2014.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 5.27% to Rs 23841.03 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 22647.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
