Uttam Sugar Mills net profit rises 252.21% in the March 2013 quarter
Capital MarketNet profit of Uttam Sugar Mills rose 252.21% to Rs 27.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 7.68 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 27.10% to Rs 134.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 184.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.
For the Audited full year,net profit reported to Rs 5.46 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against net loss of Rs 69.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales declined 5.53% to Rs 643.55 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 681.19 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
