Veritas (India) consolidated net profit rises 20.97% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 50.09% to Rs 251.94 crore

Net profit of Veritas (India) rose 20.97% to Rs 12.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 10.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 50.09% to Rs 251.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 504.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 25.40% to Rs 60.23 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 48.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 3.12% to Rs 1455.79 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1502.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
