Volumes jump at Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care counter

Dalmia Bharat, Ashoka Buildcon, Shree Cement and TTK Prestige are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 31 October 2014.

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care clocked volume of 1.31 lakh shares by 13:39 IST on BSE, a 120.02-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 1.2% at Rs 5,410. Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care's net profit rose 12.2% to Rs 61.50 crore on 16.1% growth in total income to Rs 597.53 crore in Q1 September 2014 over Q1 September 2013. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 30 October 2014.

Dalmia Bharat notched up volume of 5.04 lakh shares, a 98.73-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock gained 1.47% at Rs 425.45.

Ashoka Buildcon saw volume of 7.19 lakh shares, a 49.92-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock advanced 2.55% at Rs 138.50

Shree Cement clocked volume of 12,000 shares, a 37.99-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 324 shares. The stock rose 1.95% at Rs 8,862.10.

TTK Prestige saw volume of 15,000 shares, a 27.09-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock shed 0.02% at Rs 3,938.
