Volumes jump at Shriram City Union Finance counter

Rajesh Exports, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, K.P.R. Mill and Mahindra CIE Automotive are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 19 January 2015.

Shriram City Union Finance clocked volume of 30,000 shares by 12:55 IST on BSE, a 39.14-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock fell 1.61% at Rs 2,016.

Rajesh Exports notched up volume of 3.24 lakh shares, a 13.49-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 24,000 shares. The stock jumped 14.45% at Rs 162.35. Rajesh Exports during market hours today, 19 January 2015 said that the company has bagged an export order worth Rs 1780 crore of designer range of gold and diamond studded jewellery and medallions from Jamcelat Jewellery, UAE.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries saw volume of 16.65 lakh shares, a 12.78-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.30 lakh shares. The stock advanced 1.01% at Rs 859.35. A bulk deal of 15.59 lakh shares saw 0.07% equity of the company changing hands at Rs 859.70 per share at 09:34 IST on BSE today, 19 January 2015.

K.P.R. Mill clocked volume of 1.84 lakh shares, a 10.81-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 17,000 shares. The stock rose 0.31% at Rs 390.10.

Mahindra CIE Automotive saw volume of 55.21 lakh shares, a 8.86-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 6.23 lakh shares. The stock gained 2.6% at Rs 239.
