VRL Logistics rose 2.09% to Rs 302.75 at 09:21 IST on BSE after net profit jumped 130.6% to Rs 19.37 crore on 9.1% increase in total income to Rs 403.20 crore in Q4 March 2015 over Q4 March 2014.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 25 May 2015.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 19.43 points or 0.07% at 27,663.31.
On BSE, so far 48,977 shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 1.80 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a high of Rs 305 and low of Rs 300.80 so far during the day. The stock hit a record high of Rs 309.10 on 30 April 2015. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 261.10 on 12 May 2015.
The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 91.24 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
