Wheels India standalone net profit rises 151.04% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 8.69% to Rs 499.80 crore

Net profit of Wheels India rose 151.04% to Rs 16.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 6.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 8.69% to Rs 499.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 459.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 34.47% to Rs 39.99 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 29.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.46% to Rs 1875.11 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1812.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
