At least 10 people were killed on Sunday as gunmen opened fire on tourists at a beach resort in the west African nation of Ivory Coast, a media report said.
The Grand-Bassam resort, about 40 km east of the capital Abidjan, is popular with westerners.
Citing security sources, Xinhua reported that no group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
Security forces have arrived at the scene, witnesses said.
