Two labourers died while three others were injured on Thursday after a wall of an aluminium factory collapsed in east Delhi, police said.
The incident occurred around noon when a worker informed the local police that five labourers engaged in repair work were buried under the debris in a factory located at Shahdara's Seemapuri area.
"The labourers were taken to a near-by hospital where, Baldev, 30, and Dharmender,40, were declared brought dead, while three -- Raj Chaudhary, 30, Jammun,24, and Mhd Shahnawaz, 22, -- are undergoing treatment," DCP Meghna Yadav said.
"The victims were repairing a wall on the second floor when the floor suddenly collapsed, buring them under the debris," said the DCP. A case has been registered against the factory owner, said Yadav.
