As many as 29 people were injured in an explosion which occurred Friday morning at the Parsons Green tube station in West London, media reports said.
The explosion, caused by the detonation of an improvised explosive device (IED), took place during morning rush hour on Friday at Parsons Green Station, Sky News quoted the NHS England as saying on Friday.
The area surrounding the station has been evacuated while emergency services continue to work at the scene of the incident, Xinhua news agency reported.
By far, some residents evacuated from their homes around Parsons Green station are being allowed to return, according to reports by the Sky News.
A timer was attached to the device, police said, and the perpetrator was not believed to be on the scene.
The home-made device went off on a packed rush hour carriage at around 8.20 a.m. (local time), local media reported.
According to the report, the identity of the suspect has been found with the help of surveillance footage.
British Prime Minister Theresa May has condemned the "cowardly" terror attack.
May also said the British terror threat level would stay at "severe" rather than raising it to "critical", although this would be kept under review.
The Friday blast came after four deadly attacks in London this year -- Westminster Bridge, London Bridge and Finsbury Park, and one in Manchester at a concert of American pop singer Ariana Grande.
