The US-led anti-terror coalition on Sunday evening struck an oil refinery under the control of the Islamic State (IS) militants in a border Syrian town near Turkey, killing 30 militants, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
The alliance struck the refinery located in the northwestern part of the Syrian border town of Tal Abyad located in the northern province of al-Raqqa, the de facto capital of the IS, near the Turkish borders, Xinhua reported.
The observatory also posted an online video purporting to show the fire spiraling out of what it said was the targeted refinery.
