Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Friday announced that people living in 51 resettlement colonies would get ownership rights by next month.
"The residents of 51 colonies would get ownership rights by August this year. This would make them proud owners of their houses, which they have been occupying for the last so many decades," Dikshit announced while inaugurating the seventh e-Sub Registrar's Office here.
Dikshit said that to end hassles in registering documents, the new system envisages a process in which each applicant arrives at the e-Sub Registrar's Office with an appointment.
