A court here on Tuesday granted anticipatory bail to Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Bandana Kumari's husband Sajjan Kumar, accused of pressurising a school principal for an admission.
Additional Sessions Judge Pawan Kumar Jain granted anticipatory bail to Sajjan Kumar and directed him to co-operate in the investigation.
His counsel and advocate C.L. Gupta told court that his client will fully co-operate in the probe and will not try to hamper the investigation.
In a written complaint filed against him on Saturday, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya principal Ranjeet Singh alleged that Sajjan Kumar "harassed and misbehaved" with him, police said.
Charges under section 146 (rioting), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), and 506/34 (punishment for criminal intimidation) were levelled against Sajjan Kumar.
