Actor Abhishek Bachchan has scored nine million followers on Twitter and has thanked them for their "love, tolerance, humour and support".
"And nine million it is! Thank you all for the love, the tolerance, the humour, the support and for keeping me humble. Big love to the coolest crew," he tweeted on Monday.
The 40-year-old star, who is the son of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and actress-politician Jaya Bachchan, ventured into Hindi cinema in 2000 with the film "Refugee" alongside actress Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The actor married former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in 2007 with whom he shares a five-year-old daughter Aaradhya.
Abhishek has delivered an array of strong performances on screen with films such as "Yuva", "Dhoom", "Guru", "Bunty Aur Babli", "Dostana" and "Paa".
Abhishek, who was last seen on screen in director Umesh Shukla's "All Is Well", is currently shooting for the third instalment of the "Housefull" series with Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Riteish Deshmukh and Lisa Haydon.

Emraan Hashmi shares 'latest poster' of 'Azhar'
Actor Emraan Hashmi, who has essayed the role of former Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin in "Azhar", has shared the latest poster of the upcoming biopic.
Emraan shared the poster of the film on Twitter. It shows the actor's face on a burning billboard.
"The man who faced it all... Latest poster of 'Azhar'. Love him. Hate him. Judge him on May 13," Emraan captioned the image.
The film will narrate the highs and lows of Azharuddin's life as the captain of the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s and being tainted by a match-fixing scandal in 2000, and getting banned for life.
Directed by Tony D'Souza, "Azhar", which is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Picture, also stars Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles and is slated for a worldwide release on May 13, 2016.

Singer-actress Sophie Choudry, who was one of the Bollywood personalities to welcome the British Royals, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton here, says it was "special" to meet them.
"Being British Asian, (it) was so special to meet Prince William and Kate. Humble, beautiful and their charity work is inspiring! Royal Visit India," she tweeted.
Sophie looked ravishing in a mint and beige mesh dress by ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra at the charity gala.
She took the opportunity to thank her designer friend for making actresses Parineeti Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez and Huma Qureshi look beautiful at the grand affair.
"Thank you Manish Malhotra for making us all look so pretty... You are the best," she wrote.
