Television actress Sara Khan's vehicle overturned after hitting a road divider in Mumbai early Saturday, police said. There were no casualties.
According to preliminary information, Sara, along with four of her friends, was returning home from a birthday party around 3 a.m. when the accident took place in Oshiwara.
A police official said that the car, driven by one of Sara's friends, allegedly lost control when it reached the Mega-Mall at Oshiwara, hit a divider and overturned.
Some of the occupants, including Sara, sustained minor injuries in the accident, but there were no other casualties.
Police are probing whether the person at the wheel and the co-passengers were in an inebriated state or not.
Hailing from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Sara (24) is noted for her roles in serials like "Bidai", "Sapna Babul Ka", "Ram Milayi Jodi", and "Junoon".
She did a stint in the reality show Bigg Boss 4 in 2010, and is now due to appear in some Bollywood movies.
