Malaysian low-cost airlines AirAsia will add a third flight August 30 onwards between Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) and Kuala Lumpur, the company said.
"AirAsia enhances its connectivity to the state of Tamil Nadu, India by introducing a third daily flight frequency from Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) to the city of Kuala Lumpur, commencing on 30 August 2013," the airlines said in a statement issued here Sunday.
According to AirAsia, it will offer one way promotional fair starting from Rs.4,399 from Trichy to Kuala Lumpur and the bookings will be open July 15-21, 2013, for the travel period Aug 30, 2013 - Jan 31, 2014.
Now, with the new third daily flight frequency in place, flights from Trichy to Kuala Lumpur will depart daily at 9.25 a.m. (AK 1232), 4.30 p.m. (AK 1236) and 11.55 p.m. (AK 1238), the statement added.
