Ajax beat FC Twente 3-0 to move closer towards a fourth consecutive Dutch league title.
Although Twente were the better of the two in the first half in the Amsterdam Arena Sunday, it was Ajax who took the lead in the 29th minute, reports Xinhua.
Defender Stefano Denswil headed in a free-kick by Lasse Schone.
In the second half Ajax secured the victory, with Schone finishing a cross by Van Rhijn and Bojan smashing home the third.
Also Sunday, Feyenoord crushed Go Ahead Eagles 5-0 to move up to the second place. Lex Immers, Tonny Vilhena, Jean-Paul Boetius, Mitchell te Vrede and Miquel Nelom scored for the home team.
Ajax now are on 62 points after 29 matches and Feyenoord climbed to second spot with 54 points, also from 29 matches.
Vitesse and PSV are third and fourth with both on 53 points out of 30 matches. FC Twente are fifth with 52 from 29 matches.
