The Hague, April 29 (IANS) Ajax Amsterdam need only one win to capture a third consecutive Dutch championship after a win over NAC Breda, while rivals PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord and Vitesse also won their matches in the 32nd match round.
Reigning champions Ajax beat NAC Breda 2-0 Sunday to take home three crucial points, reports Xinhua.
Feyenoord crushed Heracles Almelo 6-0 in Rotterdam while Vitesse defeated bottom club Willem II 3-1.
PSV beat FC Groningen 5-2 Saturday.
With two match rounds remaining Ajax now are four points ahead of PSV and Feyenoord and six ahead of Vitesse. Next week Ajax can clinch their third consecutive Eredivisie title with a home win against Willem II.
"I assume we will win the championship now," said Ajax coach Frank de Boer. "We just have to win against Willem II. Afterwards we will have a nice party."
