Ali, Musthafa top in Goa Rally

Ajgar Ali and navigator Mohammad Musthafa M.K. won their second consecutive Overall title emerging champions in the MRF Rally de Goa, the fifth round of the FMSCI Indian National TSD Rally Championship, here Sunday.

Ali and Musthafa thus consolidated their position at the top of the championship table with a tally of 96 points while M.D. Ganesh Moorthy and T. Nagarajan of Team Tata Motors finished second followed by Sandeep Mukherjee and Suvarjit Datta.

In the Pro-Stock category, Team Tata Motors completed a 1-2-3 finish with Chidananda Murthy and B.S. Sujith Kumar from Bangalore notching their fourth win in a row to further cement their position in the championship standings with a tally of 106 points.

Finishing second in the category were teammates Vikas Puttur and Sekar V. and Saurav Chatterjee and Ashoke Kumar Basu.
