Amitabh Bachchan most stylish in Bollywood: Manish Malhotra

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is the most stylish and iconic person in Bollywood, says noted fashion designer Manish Malhotra, who has designed for some of the biggest names in the industry.

"Mr. Bachchan is the most timeless, fantastic, brilliant, stylish and iconic person that the Indian film industry can ever speak about," said Malhotra, who had designed for Bachchan's film "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna".

About his views on style, he said: "A stylish man whatever be his age and wherever he comes from, his style never goes out of fashion. Fashion changes but style never goes out of fashion."

Malhotra displayed his designs on top male models of the country at a sneak peek of the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW).

On the style sense of some top actors, he said: "I think, today, when it comes to a Shah Rukh Khan or young actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh or Saif Ali Khan, they all have such inherent, interesting styles. And for a collection that is young, I think Ranbir Kapoor is ideal and he's our young superstar."

The LFW will be held from August 26 to 30. The event will kick off with a collection by renowned designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

A curtain raiser to the fashion week was held recently where Soha Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Gul Panag, Swara Bhaskar, Sarah Jane Dias displayed some designs.
