Amity student hangs himself in Delhi

A 20-year-old student of business administration at Amity University in Noida committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan inside his house in the capital, police said here.

Arun Kumar Lohia was found hanging in his house in Ghitorni village, situated in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area, at 6 a.m.

"A suicide note was recovered in which he had said sorry to his family members and asked them to forgive him for his act, and said he is going," said a police officer.

The reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Arun Kumar was pursuing BBA from Amity University in Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
