Actor Anthony Hopkins has restarted work on his memoir, three years after abandoning the project.

The 75-year-old stopped writing his autobiography in 2010 because his life story bored him. He had even returned a cheque of the advance to the publishers. But he is now back at it, reports contactmusic.com.

"I've done 40 pages, which is not bad - my childhood and my early life and, yeah, I think it could work out, but I'm not passionate about writing it," Hopkins told British magazine Event.
