Carmelo Anthony scored 35 points to help the New York Knicks beat the Los Angeles Lakers 110-103.
Anthony had another 30-plus NBA game Sunday after a bagging 62 points two days ago. The Knicks won their second straight game and stayed in 10th place of the Eastern Conference with a 17-27 record, one win behind eighth-placed Charlotte Bobcats, reports Xinhua.
Starting point guard Raymond Felton had 20 points and five assists for the Knicks. Tim Hardaway Jr. and J.R. Smith contributed 18 and 16 points respectively from the bench.
Jodie Meeks topped the Lakers with 24 points. Pau Gasol took home 20 points and 13 rebounds while Manny Harris added 18.
