Arjun Rampal gets into remembrance mode (Movie Snippets)

Actor Arjun Rampal remembers the deaths of some legends and tagged Friday as the "day of remembrance".

Jan 23 marks the 118th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the 88th birth anniversary of Shiv Sena founder-patriarch Bal Thackeray.

And the world also lost some legends from different fields on this day. Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz died of complications from pneumonia early Friday. Hollywood actor Heath Ledger, known for his portrayal as fictional character Joker in the movie "The Dark Knight" also died Jan 22.

"A day of remembrance. The Tiger Balasaheb Thackeray, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, The Joker Heath Ledger, King Abdullah. #legends," he tweeted Friday.

Meanwhile, Arjun is gearing up for his forthcoming film "Roy", in which he will be seen as a writer.

Directed by Vikramjit Singh, "Roy" also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Ranbir Kapoor and will release Feb 13.

Lara Dutta's special act in 'Fitoor'

Actress Lara Dutta, who will be seen in upcoming movie "Fitoor", has a special treat planned for her fans.

The actress shared her insight about the movie while answering the questions of one of her fans on micro-blogging site Twitter. But she didn't reveal much about her role.

"Doing something special in Fitoor :-) "@AbhayLD: Still not sure whether @laradutta is doing #Fitoor or not," the actress tweeted Friday.

To be directed by Abhishek Kapoor, "Fitoor" will also feature Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Sonam Kapoor floored by 'Dolly Ki Doli' response

Actress Sonam Kapoor seems to be basking in all the appreciation that has come her way for her recently released film "Dolly Ki Doli".

"Ohmygod! Overwhelmed by the reviews and feedback! This the best response ever!! Yayyyy!!" she tweeted.

The film revolves around a conwoman who robs her grooms on the wedding night and runs away. It also features Rajkummar Rao, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma.

Directed by Abhishek Dogra, the film is produced by Arbaaz Khan and released Friday.
