Army foils infiltration bid on LoC, kills intruder
The Indian Army on Thursday foiled an infiltration bid from across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir and killed a militant in the process.
"A terrorist was killed in the Keran sector of the Line of Control in Kupwara district where the Army foiled the infiltration bid," Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia told IANS.
A firearm been seized from the killed militant and the operation is still on, he said.
