Veteran shooter Pemba Tamang of the Indian Army fired a total of 579 to clinch the gold in mens 25m Centre Fire Pistol event at the XI Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Memorial Masters at the Karni Singh Shooting Range here on Wednesday.
The 2016 Junior World Cup gold medallist Anhad Jawanda of Punjab won the silver medal after shooting a total of 578 while Samaresh Jung of the CISF settled for the bronze after firing 576.
Anhad, however won the gold in the corresponding Junior men's event, getting the better of another talented youngster from Haryana Anish 578-756 in the final. Karan Sheoyran of the Navy settled for the bronze with a score of 568.
