A terrorist riding a car packed with explosives blew up at the gate of the Kabul international airport on Monday, killing himself, police said.
No other person was hurt in the blast, Xinhua news agency reported. This is the second suicide attack near the Kabul airport within a week.
In the previous suicide bombing on December 28, the bomber and a civilian were killed and 13 civilians were injured.
