Delhi Lt. Governor Anil Baijal on Sunday greeted the capital's citizens on the festival of Holi and called for strengthening camaraderie and compassion on the festival of colour.
"Holi marks the advent of spring and ushers in joyous celebration for one and all. It symbolizes hope and warmth," Baijal said in a statement.
"May this festival of colour strengthen our faith in compassion and camaraderie as it celebrates the spirit of rejuvenation of nature and renewal of bonds of friendship," Baijal added.
He appealed to the citizens to celebrate the festival in a "true spirit" and wished them "joyous celebrations" on the occasion.
