Madrid, Feb 6 (IANS/EFE) Following two days of rest, FC Barcelona players returned to training with the notable absence of Brazilian right-back Dani Alves, who trained individually.
Barca were Thursday preparing for Sunday's game against Athletic Bilbao in Spanish La Liga's 22nd round, in which Brazilian defender Douglas Pereira will be absent due to a hamstring injury.
Douglas also underwent a specific individual training session Thursday to continue with his recovery plan.
Argentine star forward Lionel Messi took part in the training session as well, after getting the approval from the club to skip Monday's training for personal reasons.
Six players from Barcelona B also participated, including Munir El Haddadi, Adama Traore, Allan Halilovic, Juan Camara and Sergi Samper.
