A new couple-based reality TV show "Power Couple", which will strive to bank on love, laughter and positivity, was launched late Saturday here.

Co-hosted by actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his actress wife Malaika Arora Khan, the show will bring out a new concept in India for the first time.

"It's about positivity, love and compatibility. This show does not have negativity and high-pitch drama... 'Power Couple' is our latest offering in the non-fiction space," N.P. Singh, chief executive officer, Multi Screen Media, told reporters.

"Power Couple", which consists of 26 episodes is an adaptation of Israel-based reality show by the same name will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television December 12.

Celebritites like Pratyusha Banerjee-Rahul Raj Singh, Naved Jaffrey-Sayeeda, Jesse Randhawan-Sandeep Soparkar, Apoorva Agnihotri-Shilpa Saklani, Aamir Ali-Sanjeeda Sheikh, Delnaaz Irani-Percy Karkaria, Salil Ankola-Ria Banerjee, Shawar Ali-Marsela, Ashmit Patel-Mehak Chahal, and Rahul Dev-Mugdha Godse will be participating in the show.

"I loved the concept of the show and I thought I can do this. Malaika was here with me and she has done a lot of TV work ... So with her, my fear and anxiety slowly faded away," Arbaaz said.

The ten couples will undergo tasks, which will test them mentally and physically.
