Punjab National Bank (PNB) defeated Army XI 7-4 in a high scoring Beighton Cup tie at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) ground here on Thursday.
Jugraj Singh scored twice for PNB while Ajitesh Roy, Sonu Kumar, Jitender Saroha, Arjun Antil and Lakhwinder Singh netted the other goals.
Hemlet Singh, Pawal Lakra, Bachiuttra Singh and Deepak Kumar scored for the armymen.
In another contest, RC Kapurthala beat CAG 4-3. Gagandeep scored a brace for Kapurthala while Karanpal and Sandeep Singh added the other two.
Balvinder Singh, Chandan Singh and Nithin Timmiah scored for CAG.
