Portuguese top-division football club Vitoria Guimaraes has signed a loan contract with Colombian midfielder Guillermo Celis, who arrives from league leaders Benfica.
The loan was made in the last hours of the winter transfer market in Portugal on Tuesday, Guimaraes announced the deal on Wednesday, reports Efe.
Guimaraes currently hold fifth position in the Primeira Liga, three points from third place, which offers a chance to play in the Champions League next season if the team manages to climb up the standings ladder.
Celis, 23, is a midfielder and has played only a few minutes in the first half of the Primeira Liga, under Benfica coach Rui Vitoria.
