Megastar Amitabh Bachchan connected with over three lakh students from 100 different schools with the help of telecom service Reliance Jio while stationed at his office here.

"It's been a hectic day connecting and speaking to over a 100 schools all over the country right from Gujarat, Jammu to would you believe it Nagaland in the North East... And all from my office within minutes... Entire cast together and what fun we had. Incredible Reliance Jio did this for us," the 73-year-old posted on his blog on Tuesday night.

Amitabh also said that the "most amazing" part was the immediate connect "that kept coming up as we switched from one city to another".

The "Piku" star thanked all the students.

"Thank you all the students that conversed with us and thank you for all the good wishes that you gave us," he added.

Amitabh also tweeted: "Connected (with) over 3.5 lakh students, 100 schools all over country sitting in my office. RelianceJio did it!"

The actor quipped that he did a pan-India tour sitting in his office in Mumbai.

"Trade analyst resented artists doing city tours for promotions. Noted. We did the tour sitting in my office. Thank you RelianceJio," he added.
