The movie features Gulshan in the lead role, and is aired on Viacom18's digital platform Voot.
"'Badman' in a film festival gives me a high that I have never felt before, although I have been with many films to festivals. Festival appreciation of this crazily entreating film where I am the hero, would take digital entertainment to a new level," Gulshan said in a statement.

Directed by Soumik Sen, the web movie also has actor Chunky Pandey playing a negative role. The web-film also features cameos by veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, ace choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan, director Shoojit Sircar and actress Manisha Koirala.
