A Jet Airways flight made an emergency landing at Muscat International Airport on Thursday after a bomb threat was reported, a media report said.
The Jet Airways flight flying from Mumbai to Dubai was diverted to Muscat airport after the pilot warned the air traffic controllers of the bomb threat, the Times of Oman reported.
"It was taken to an isolated bay and all the passengers were evacuated. The flight is right now grounded at Muscat International Airport and we are waiting for clearances from the concerned authorities to fly again," Riyaz Kuttery, general manager of Jet Airways, Oman, was quoted as saying.
The airport was closed for about 10 minutes following the bomb scare.
