Bosnia and Herzegovina tied 1-1 at home with the Netherlands in the second round of the Davis Cup tennis competition.
Holland's Robin Haase defeated Mirza Basic 6-4, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in the first singles match on Friday, reports Xinhua news agency.
In the first set, both players held their serves until Haase, ranked 48th on the ATP list, broke his opponent for a 5-3 lead. He then took the second set and cruised to a 2-0 lead.
Basic played much better in the third set to pull one set back, but Haase broke early in the fourth for the victory.
"I have started well, when we exchanged punches. After the second set, Mirza played better, and it was difficult," Haase said.
Damir Dzumhur leveled the tie at 1-1 after beating Thiemo de Bekker, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2.
