Boy killed as Mumbai tenement collapses

An 18-year-old boy was killed and five people were injured Saturday when a tenement, which was being repaired, came crashing down in a slum here, officials said.
The incident took place in Colaba's Ganesh Murti Nagar area at around 10.30 a.m., an official with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's disaster control said.
The official said the victim was identified as Mashroof Shaikh.
The injured were rushed to a hospital and work to clear the debris is underway.
