"Uptown funk" hitmaker Bruno Mars has confirmed that he will be joining the rock band Coldplay and singer Beyonce Knowles on stage during their performance at the Super Bowl 50 halftime on Sunday.
The "When I was your man" hitmaker made the announcement on his Instagram account on Friday afternoon, reports variety.com.
He posted: "It ain't a party if Mr $how Up & $how out doesn't show up.#Confirmed #SB50 #Halftime #Coldplay#Beyonce #TheBrunz #Shwaaaggg".
Super Bowl 50 will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday.
Mars also shared an image of himself near the stage at Levi's Stadium.
The singer has joined musical roster for the game. Lady Gaga will sing the national anthem before the game, and artistes ranging from Adele to Guns N' Roses have been rumoured as further additions to the halftime spectacle.
Mars had performed during the halftime show for Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014.
