The Border Security Force (BSF) Friday handed over two Pakistani nationals who had inadvertently crossed into Indian territory in the Amritsar sector of the India-Pakistan international boundary, an official said.
"BSF troops...in Amritsar Sector apprehended one Pakistani national, namely Roshan (age 28)....while he entered into Indian territory from Pakistan side. He was handed over to Pakistan Rangers being an inadvertent border crosser," a BSF spokesman told reporters here.
In the second incident, BSF troops in Amritsar Sector caught Pakistani national Sajid Ali (age 23) after he inadvertently entered into Indian territory.
"During questioning both these Pakistani nationals were found to be inadvertent border crossers and nothing objectionable was recovered from their possession," the spokesman said.
"During this year, six Pakistani nationals have crossed the border inadvertently and have been handed over to Pakistan Rangers," he added.
