Popular US fast food chain Burger King will open its first outlet here in Kerala on Saturday.

The outlet will open at Lulu Mall. It would be the 59th store in the country.

Rajeev Varman, CEO, Burger King, India, said on Thursday that they were extremely excited to strengthen their presence in southern India.

"None of our offerings on the menu are from our global portfolio as we wanted to start afresh. Burger King India's menu is quite innovative and we wish to offer customers a whole new experience of burgers," he said.
