Renowned automobile designer Dilip Chhabaria Saturday unveiled his design studio here to showcase his award-winning and innovative designs.

"It's a defining moment to have a design studio in Bangalore where the demand for luxury cars is growing. We will also set up a design school soon to train auto designers," Chhabaria said on the occasion at the studio, a joint venture with Emvee DreamzDrive.

As an authority in automotive design, DC Design showroom is displaying Avanti, the first Indian super car model to be launched this year, Renault Duster and Hyundai i20 models for the first time.

"Our craftsmanship and skills will create unique masterpieces catering to ultra-modern customers. We plan to sell about 40 cars per month and expand our presence in other cities going forward," Chhabaria asserted.

DC Design will use composite structure to convert a luxury vehicle into an armoured vehicle with highest safety level.

"With royal interiors and electronics upgrade, a drive in a DC armoured vehicle will give an opulent experience and a homely comfort. Our customised vehicles redefine luxury and bring sophistication in creativity," Emvee director Nitish Kumar said.

As the only DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) approved design firm in the country, DC Design is also authorised to design and refurbish aircraft interiors.
