Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his South Korean counterpart Yun Byung-se discussed bilateral relations here Monday.
Wang, who arrived in Seoul early Monday for a two-day visit, described his trip as a move "to visit relatives, talk about friendship, discuss cooperation and look into the future", Xinhua reported.
He said the China-South Korean relations are in the best of times, facing with new developing opportunities. Both sides should deepen strategic cooperative partnership, instilling new vitality and solid assurance to cooperation at the basis of mutual trust.
Yun said South Korea and China communicate with each other very well over international issues. The two countries share the mutual trust in politics, cooperate actively in economy and experience increasingly frequent personnel exchanges.
Yun said South Korea is willing to continue deepening cooperation with China to benefit citizens of both countries.
