Cool morning, warm day ahead in Delhi

It was a relatively cool morning in the capital Friday with the minimum temperature settling three notches below average at 24.8 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the maximum temperature in Delhi Friday would be about 40 degrees Celsius.

Thursday's maximum temperature was 40.4 degrees Celsius - average for this time of year, and the minimum was a notch above average at 27.8 degrees Celsius.
