Singer Miley Cyrus is reportedly gearing up to release a new single in October.
The "Wrecking ball" hitmaker is working on her sixth studio album which is expected to be released later this year or early 2017 via RCA Records and Smiley Miley Inc.
A community member on social news and entertainment company Buzzfeed quoted Cyrus as saying she was planning to release a new track sometime in October, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The member with username @MileySourceNews tweeted, "Miley said to BuzzFeed that she will release her new single in October!"
The post has since been removed.
Cyrus recently teamed up with Zoe Kravitz's band Lolawolf for a single called "Teardrop", which will be featured in the electropop band's upcoming album.
Earlier, she lent her vocals to a remix of rapper Kanye West's single "Black skinhead".
