Musician Noel Gallagher says actor Robert De Niro had no idea who he was when they had a meal together.
Gallagher enjoyed a lunch with De Niro in France last month, and ended up dining with him for eight hours. He says that De Niro had no idea who he was when he was introduced to the "Raging Bull" star.
"I sat next to him and I've got to say he didn't have a clue who I was. As he was leaving, he said, 'Write down the name of that band again that you were in'," Gallagher told dailystar.co.uk.
"We had this lunch that started at one o'clock in the afternoon... And he left at about eight or nine. He was there for about eight hours. If I ever have the pleasure of meeting him again, he'll just go, 'I've never met this guy'," he added.
