Italian striker Simone Zaza's father and agent Antonio on Thursday announced that his son will take or leave the offer from Spanish football club Valencia over the next 48 hours.
Zaza, 25, moved last summer from Juventus on loan to West Ham United; however, he has not had much luck in the English Premier League (EPL), while Antonio stressed that his son has to think carefully about the move because this is an important step in his career, reports Efe.
Antonio told La Gazzetta dello Sport that they will take a decision in the next two days and admitted that joining West Ham was wrong.
Simone Zaza's move to Valencia was requested by coach Cesare Prandelli and failure to do so led to his resignation on December 30.
According to Prandelli, Valencia's previous negotiations with Juventus, who still own the 25-year-old's rights, was halted. However both teams recently returned to discussions.
If the deal is finalised, Zaza will begin his first experience in La Liga after playing in Italy and England.
Simone Zaza had an impressive campaign with Sassuolo, where he scored 20 goals in 64 games, before moving to Juventus in 2015, with which he won both the league and the cup competitions.
