The Delhi Metro, through a workshop at the Metro Bhawan here Wednesday, apprised disabled commuters about the facilities available for them on its network.
As part of the event organised by the Delhi Metro museum, information about the facilities available was detailed through a power point presentation.
"A documentary film, which highlighted these facilities and also shed light on the procedures to use them at the stations and trains, was also screened," a statement from Delhi Metro said.
The Delhi Metro has made available facilities like wheelchairs, yellow tactile paths for the visually impaired and reserved seating in trains for the differently-abled passengers.
The workshop was organised in association with Prerna Niketan Sangh, an NGO that works for disabled people.
