The woman's body that was found in a box outside Anand Vihar metro station here Wednesday was placed outside the station by two men, police said Thursday. The body is yet to be identified.
"The footage from the CCTV cameras installed outside the metro station clearly showed that two men aged between 25 and 30 years were putting the trunk outside the station. They stood there for a few seconds and went away," said a police officer.
The woman, who was wearing a mangalsutra, was believed to have been killed somewhere else and her body was dumped later. Several injury marks were also found on her body.
Police stations in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have been alerted for the identification of the victim.
