Delhi woke up to light showers and partly cloudy skies on Thursday morning with Thursday's minimum temperature settling two notches below the season's average at 25.2 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office has forecast thunderstorm with light to moderate rain during the day.
"The sky will be generally cloudy. Thunderstorm with light to moderate rain would occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 92 percent.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled one notches below the season's average at 35.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled three notches below the season's average at 24.8 degrees Celsius.
