Dheepa Ramanujam to play Mahesh Babu's mother in his next

Actress Dheepa Ramanujam, last seen in the Tamil hit drama "Pichaikkaran", has been roped in to play Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's mother in his upcoming yet-untitled Tamil-Telugu bilingual. It will be directed by A.R. Murugadoss.

"Dheepa has been signed on to play Mahesh's mother in the film. Her role in 'Pichaikkaran', where she played a mother, appealed to the masses and Murugadoss felt she'd be perfect for his film too. She will join the first schedule of the film in August," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

The film, to be produced by Tagore Madhu, also stars Rakul Preet Singh.

The makers are yet to finalise rest of the cast.
